Who is The McLeod Method™ Practitioner Certification designed for?
The certification has been developed for practitioners working across wellness, body contouring, lymphatic care, massage, beauty and other supportive-care environments who want to deepen their understanding of Lipoedema and integrate The McLeod Method™ principles into their existing professional practice.
Do I need previous experience treating Lipoedema?
No previous Lipoedema-specific experience is required. The certification provides structured education designed to build understanding from foundational Lipoedema and lymphatic principles through to tissue presentation, treatment sequencing and practical integration.
Do I need specific equipment to complete the certification?
The McLeod Method™ teaches treatment principles and sequencing rather than reliance on one specific device. Practitioners are taught how appropriate modalities may be integrated within their existing professional practice, with practical alternatives considered where particular equipment is not available.
Is the certification completed online?
The educational component is delivered online, allowing practitioners to work through the learning modules at their own pace. Certification also requires successful completion of assessments, practical demonstration requirements and a client case study.
What do I need to complete to become certified?
Practitioners must successfully complete the required educational modules, module assessments, practical treatment demonstrations and client case study, while demonstrating an understanding of The McLeod Method™ principles, treatment sequencing, safety and professional scope of practice.

Ongoing listing may be subject to certification renewal and continuing professional requirements established by The McLeod Method™ Academy.
Will I receive ongoing education and practitioner support?
Certified practitioners will have access to the evolving professional community surrounding The McLeod Method™, including educational updates and future professional development opportunities as the Method continues to grow.
Can practitioners outside Australia apply?
Yes. Applications may be considered from practitioners internationally. Applicants are responsible for ensuring that their qualifications, insurance and use of any treatment modalities comply with the professional and regulatory requirements of the country or jurisdiction in which they practise.
